Things like this.

The last month has been pretty nuts, but the highlight is easy to pinpoint.  Melanie.

Yup.  It's another post about a girl.  I do realize that it gets a little old.  I mean...how do you think I feel about it?  Every time I'm excited/depressed enough to come on here and talk about something, it's almost always about a girl.  I feel, sometimes, that I don't have all that much to talk about anymore.  Or is that true?  I'm busier that I have ever been and I have plenty of friends here, maybe I just don't have the need to talk on here much anymore.  Maybe the reason I come on to write is because I feel obligated to.  Yeah.  That could be it.  Or maybe I only come on when I'm depressed or entirely too excited.  I really hate annoying people with talking about stuff too much.  That sounds good too. I feel like there are only a couple people out there that I can gush to or cry to without them ever reaching their limits.  I guess that kinda sucks, but at least I have you blog.  You'll always be here ('cept that one time when you were housed on Frank's server and they had that hurricane).  I'll always have you to talk to...which I guess is just me.  I'm not upset about that by the way.  Talking to yourself is very healthy.  That and the illusion of talking to someone else really makes the difference.  Anyway...I think I was talking about something else.

Right.  Melanie.  I'll keep this really simple so as not to Jinx it.  I really like her.  More than I have liked anyone in a really long time.  I genuinely mean since Kelley, if not before.  This isn't a fluke.  We've done everything in our power to talk about things that might scare the other person off.  Nothing doing.  We like each other quite a bit.  She's the youngest girl I have ever dated but she's got one hell of a head on her shoulders.  She's strong, funny and most importantly, she's completely sane.  We're at one month on the 29th and that kinda scares me.  It feels like six months.  We're moving very fast emotionally and I'm concerned it's going to burn us out...well...burn her out.  She's really busy at work and it's about to get a lot worse with the holiday coming.  So guys?  Really?  Wish me luck.  Pray for me.  Sacrifice a lamb for me.  Just do something, because I honestly don't know if it can get better than this.  Yeah.  That sounds kinda morbid but guys?  For the first two weeks both of us were sick to our stomachs almost every day because of this.  She stays here until super late even though it makes her ill the next day. She, completely without prompting or knowledge of my opinion on the character, is going to be Velma on Halloween for fuck's sake!  I don't know what else to say.  I just hope I get to be with her for as long as I possibly can but I haven't been this happy with a girl in a really long time.  Anyway. Thanks for listening.  I know it gets old.

Other notes are: I got my Orange Belt in kung fu.  I was in another play, I played Rod Serling.  I'm writing another story for that story reading thing I'm a part of.  My car was broken and now it's fixed.

I'm happy.  Happy but scared.  Like many of you know, when you put yourself out there for real...it's easy to get hurt, and hurt pretty bad. I hope she's worth it.
